Explore ceramic gaiwans for loose-leaf tea, with Blue & White floral designs, calligraphy and Shino Cat options. A gaiwan is a lidded tea bowl: choose the form and design you enjoy, then match the exact version in the product selector.

The table below lists the current option names. Gift-box and simple-package choices are identified where those options appear; cat-design versions are listed separately.
Choosing a gaiwan for your tea sessions
Start with the amount you serve and a bowl you can comfortably hold. Compare the mouth shape, lid profile and listed dimensions rather than assuming every gaiwan handles the same way. A wide bowl makes it easy to see and remove leaves, while the lid controls the opening during a pour.
Capacity and dimensions should come from the individual product details. If a measurement you need is missing, ask us about that exact option before ordering. A design name or gift-box label does not specify a capacity.
What comes with my selection?
Use the selected option and its product details to confirm the included pieces. Cups, tea trays and other styling accessories in photographs are not automatically part of the order. For gift packaging, select an option explicitly labeled Gift Box where offered.
Gaiwan or handled teapot?
A gaiwan uses its lid to retain leaves during pouring; a teapot directs the tea through a spout. If you prefer a handle, compare our ceramic teapots. For everyday cleaning and storage, read our ceramic care guide.
